3rd Annual Toy Swap
December 9 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Open Space for Arts & Community is proud to host the first annual Toy Swap on December 9th from 12-4pm. Share your used toys that sit around the house with a new generation of Vashon kids who will love them, or pick up new-to-you gifts without the economic or ecological impact.
Beginning at 12pm on December 9th, there will be large, empty tables set up in the Open Space main lobby. All are invited to swing by between 12 and 4pm to drop off clean, lightly-used toys or collect some from the tables as they fill up.
The Toy Swap will not accept the following:
● Dirty, broken, ripped, chipped, ragged, chewed, marked items
● Baby gear (car seats, strollers, cribs, play yards)
● Anything with missing parts or in disrepair
● Items with possible cutting, choking, or lead hazards
● Oversized items may be accepted at our discretion
There is no cost to participate. Participants may pick up or drop off items, and do not need to show up with items in order to participate. The goal is to provide the island with an opportunity to find children’s gifts for the holidays without the expense and financial impact of buying new ones.
