Spring has sprung and Burlesco Notturno returns to Open Space Grand Hall, for your pleasure and delight. Doors open at 7 with live music and luscious libations. Emceed by the one-and-only beyond-glamorous Mme. X (on parade in all her deliciously P. Toovey costumed grandeur) and her loyal lawyer, hear live music from the incomparable black slip, beret band The Love Markets. They entertain us throughout the evening with bountiful talent, charm and highly danceable tunes. We’ve gone bananas this time!

Mme. X has come undone to shape this special Burlesco cast for you! Witness Luminous Pariah sizzling, celebrated Seattle-based interdisciplinary cabaret performance artist. Lumi tours extensively and has performed in over 100 international productions throughout Europe, Canada and Australia. Luminous performs as a soloist as well as one-fourth of acclaimed boylesque collective Mod Carousel.

Von Stratton brings her own brand of fabulous theatrics, dance, camp and kitsch. She leaves local audiences clamoring for more, and wowed audiences in Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Canada, Portugal, China and Australia. She launched her stage career with burlesque troupe The Atomic Bombshells, Seattle darlings of the professional burlesque scene. Von Stratton deservedly holds the title of 2015-2016 Queen of the Roses (winner of the Oregon Burlesque festival).

The Atomic Bombshells, founded by original members of the Shim Sham Revue in New Orleans’ historic French Quarter, learned their bumps n’ grinds from original stars of burlesque’s Golden Age. Seattle Weekly says, “Armed with an astounding amount of talent, these phenomenal beauties pull out all the stops and pump out a show of sheer splendor where every inch of skin is cherished…” And so will you.

Kitten ‘N Lou, also of Atomic Bombshell fame, combine their extensive burlesque, theater and dance performance creds to create a showbiz tour-de-force that celebrates and subverts everything from sexed-up classic burlesque and glossy MGM-era musicals, to raunchy jukebox drag, homo-fabulous twin club kids, to Fosse jazz-ma-tazz and old vaudeville tap dance.

Kitten N’ Lou’s 2013 wedding, featured in UK Daily Mail, quickly became an international social media phenom. Producing both solo and duo performances, Kitten and Lou also collaborate with Seattle’s Premier Fancy Lady, BenDeLaCreme as DeLouRue Presents, a production company that combines burlesque, cabaret, dance, drag and musical performance that sparkles with life, love and laughter.

Tickets available now; VIP and Special occasion packages available with tiny bites, sweet libations, delectable chocolate of course and extra special Rx from our own Mme. X and Ohhh, so much more! (More details in “Tickets”)
