On March 7th, the Immigrant/Refugee Rights Group of Indivisible Vashon and Open Space for Arts and Community are proud to present “The Detention Lottery.” “The Detention Lottery” is an engaging courtroom theater experience by Margaret O’Donnell, a Seattle playwright and immigration attorney committed to opening up the immigration enforcement system to public witness. Eight audience members will join the cast as the detainees. The actors are working immigration attorneys. A Q&A session will follow the production.
All ticket sales & additional donations will support the Tacoma non-profit Advocates for Immigrants in Detention Northwest.

Doors at 6:30, show at 7:00.
Tickets are $12 in online advance/$15 at door. Under 18 are free. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Tickets are available online until midnight the night before the show, but will still be available at the door.
