Yoga Classes begin at Open Space!

Ronly Blau, certified Yoga instructor and Ayurvedic practitioner has taught yoga for nearly two decades. Blau’s group classes start at Open Space for Arts & Community beginning April 16, 2018. Wednesday and Saturday classes start at Open Space May 1, 2018.

Graduate of Mindful Yoga and Meditation Training at Spirit Rock and co-author of book, The Mindbody Cleanse, Blau completed her yoga teaching certification with Seattle yoga/movement master Kathleen Hunt.

Designed to nourish the mind-body, awaken awareness and unify spirits, her mindful flowing yoga class incorporates pranayama, meditation and Ayurveda. Cohesive and creative pose sequencing are influenced by her experience as a professional dancer. Blau emphasizes mindfulness as a reflection of a long-time practice in vipassana meditation.

  • Monday: 8:30 am-9:45 am                   Mindful Flow, all levels
  • Tuesday: 9:30 am-10:45 am                 Mindful Flow, all levels
  • Wednesday: 6:30 pm-7:45 pm             Bliss Yoga–combination of restorative, yin, pranayama, poetry, music. Starts May 2 at Open Space.
  • Thursday: 9:30 am-10:45 am               Gentle Yoga & Meditation. Entry level welcome. Meditative, slow, user-friendly class, steeped in awareness. Use the body as a gateway to cultivate mindfulness.
  • Saturdays: 9 am-10:15 am                   Mindful flow, all levels. Blue Heron Art Center thru April 28. Drop-ins welcome.
  • Saturdays: 10:30 am-11:45 am            Yoga Basics taught by David Seborer


Mindful Flow: all levels

Integrates mindfulness with the asana practice. Flow from one pose to the next slowly and deliberately with keen interest and care. Pause throughout class; notice the effects the movement has on mind and body and adjust appropriately. Sometimes music helps enliven our inner graceful dancer while at other times we simply flow with the breath. All levels are welcome; some introductory experience with yoga recommended.

Mindful Yoga & Meditation

Great entry level yoga and meditation class. Practice sitting, standing, lying and movement based meditation…slow and simple, accompanied by breath awareness and practices.

Yoga Bliss

Release stress in the mind-body and connect with our deep well-being of unconditional love. Draw from these elements: restorative yoga, yin yoga, pranayama, music, essential oils, poetry, yoga nidra…and who knows what else might spontaneously get woven in! All abilities welcome.

Yoga Basics

Great for newbies or those wanting to refresh basics. Explore fundamentals of standing and sitting postures to bring optimal healing to our bodies, balancing flexibility and strength. Learn ancient yogic relaxation and breathing techniques to bring healing to our bodies and minds. Learn postures through careful step-by-step descriptions and demonstrations.
