Trío Guadalevín presents La Velada an inclusive holiday program incorporating the Feast of la Virgen de Guadalupe, Spanish cantigas de Santa Maria, music of Hanukah, and Christmas in Latin America.Trío Guadalevín is dedicated to the investigation of the musical connections between Mexico and the Mediterranean. Employing a wealth of instruments and techniques the trio explores and often reimagines the musical dialogue between Indigenous, European and African cultures, which define Latin American identity.
