On Saturday, May 4th, Open Space’s signature Burlesco Notturno took the audience on a “Flight of Fantasy” with world-class burlesque performances.
Our VIP and Gold Star Ticket holders arrived early to enjoy a lively cocktail hour in The Bruce Black Box theater while sipping on a “Bees Knees” signature cocktail or a glass of Prosecco. Hors d’oeuvres and dinner were catered by Chef Lia Lira of Vashon’s own Bramble House, and guests enjoyed fresh mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and pesto, shrimp wontons, and asparagus with prosciutto for appetizers. “The hors d’ oeuvres were absolutely fantastic. We felt very taken care of!” shared Mary Holste, one of our VIP attendees.
A delectable dinner of leaf-wrapped salmon with marinated beets alongside roasted and candied nuts and marinated olives was served, and tables also enjoyed a bottle of Vashon’s own Palouse wine to enjoy throughout the show!
We were also delighted to hear from another VIP attendee Jo Jo Stiletto, the 2015 Mayor of Seattle Burlesque:
“I’ve attended literally hundreds of burlesque shows and this was a rare triple-threat experience: an amazing show with world class performers, a yummy meal with delicious beverages, plus a great venue with an appreciative audience. I’d highly recommend, especially the VIP ticket.” -Jo Jo Stiletto, the 2015 Mayor of Seattle Burlesque
