Jiu-Jitsu Lab
with Sean
Jiu Jitsu Lab is an adult, all levels meetup. Martial Arts instructors Bobby Dodd and Sean Lang will lead these sessions along with other high ranking Vashon martial artists and guest grapplers dropping in to share their knowledge. The class will focus on a collaborative approach which analyzes and works through the myriad of technical aspects of a variety of grappling arts, namely Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and Wrestling. General fitness will be cultivated through dynamic warm ups, flowing movements, and light stretching. Technical knowledge will be gained by practicing and reviewing common techniques and social connections will be formed through mutually beneficial practice. Sparring is optional.

Beginning Adult Aerial

This class is a beginning aerial class for folks brand new, returning folks who have taken a break and those who have "just a bit" of experience. Tissue, Rope, and Trapeze will be explored and students will learn the basics, body awareness, aerial specific conditioning, climbing and beginning tricks.

Continuing Adult Aerial
with Sarah
This class is ongoing training for adults with previous Aerial experience. Tissue, Rope, and Trapeze will be explored and students will learn and build on basics, advance their skills, and develop routines on their preferred apparatus.

Partner Acrobatics
with Emma
Are you ready to take your partnering to the next level? Or just looking to try Partner Acro for the first time? This is the place for you! We will learn and explore the basics of partnering, how to communicate with your fellow acrobats, and work together to create exciting community based shapes in a safe and reliable way. This workshop will touch on the concepts of counterbalance and weight sharing, explore acro classics like two highs, front balances, and group pyramid building. There will also be progressions and vocabulary for those interested in intermediate and duo specific work or hand to hand. No partner required - bring a buddy or come solo, we're excited to learn and create with you!

Strength & Flexibility
with Jen
In this class we will be learning how to stretch safely using both passive and active progression stretches. We will alternate between flexibility and strength training, when our muscles are both strong and flexible we protect our joints and increase our range of motion. This class is for anyone looking to gain more flexibility.
